Naipaul’s Bookstore and Handicraft Centre Limited was founded in 1979 by the late Una Naipaul. Based out of Arima & Sangre Grande, Trinidad and Tobago, the company’s heritage continues today under the leadership of the founder’s children John & Joy Naipaul.
Over the recent years, Naipaul’s has changed direction and began to expand our business from books and into a wide variety of arts and craft, specialty baking tools and accessories, floral and seasonal merchandise. There are thousands of different items to choose from. We have competitive prices, good inventory and we strive to provide quality service.
The Mission of Naipaul’s Bookstore and Handicraft Centre is to provide the most cost effective, professional, consistent service in the book and hobbies industry, with highly trained and motivated employees using innovative and proactive teamwork .

We take pride in placing monograms on the school shirts at our in house embroidery department. We are constantly visiting the schools to ensure that we stock the correct raw materials for each school uniform.

Bringing learning to life at Naipaul’s Bookstore. We stock a wide range of school texts and activity books. We import books from publishers from the UK listens and understand the needs of teachers and children in the Caribbean Schools.
Learning books are available all year in store. At the start of summer our school text assortment is very wide as we import books to fit the various booklists and schools in Trinidad and the Caribbean.
